Day two

This morning B was the only child who came to Headstart. He spent his morning going around reading his books ” How do dinosaurs say good night?”. At one point he didn’t want to interact with toys or books, so I decided I will take out the wooden train track and build a track for him. Once B noticed he came over picked up a train and around the tracks he went.

Being the only child at school, they get one on one with the Early Childhood Educators who focus on the best interest of the child such as demonstrating how to share, compromise and showing consideration for others.

As an ECE they’ll provided opportunities for the child to encourage laughter, engaging conversations, and building trust by modeling healthy behavior, learning about the child’s interest, challenges and ambitions.

“Children who receive enough positive attention are less likely to seek attention in a negative way.”
